St. James, Jamaica (McN) – One man was shot and killed by gunmen in the community of Rose Heights in St James on Wednesday night.
He as been identified as Odane Williams, 33-year-old of Jungle, also in Rose Heights.
Reports are that about 8:30 pm on Wednesday residents in Rose Heights alerted the police after hearing gunshots being fired in the area.
Upon the arrival of the police, Williams was seen lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
