Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19

The Portugal captain is said to be doing well and has now symptoms of the virus.

International news media have bene unable to say when Ronaldo tested positive. He last played for his country Sunday in a 0-0 draw with France. In the Nations League.

He will not, however, play in Portugal’s match again Sweden Wednesday, October 14.

The Associated Press (AP) reported that on Monday, the Juventus forward posted a photo on Twitter showing him and the rest of the Portugal squad having a meal together. The players were all close to each other at a table, with Ronaldo apparently taking the photo himself at the front end.
