A new romantic drama is on its way, starring Megan Good and Omari Hardwick, which takes place on a night we all maybe familiar with, the 2016 presidential election.

The romantic drama is set to star Omari playing “a Los Angeles club promoter named Cass, who, on the night of the 2016 presidential election, meets a woman named Free (Good). Free challenges him to revisit his broken dreams during a series of events that occur as Donald Trump surges ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for electoral votes to win the White House.”

Datari Turner will produce the project, and Omari Hardwick and Meagan Good will serve as executive producers of the romantic drama, along with a few others.

Turner currently has a first-look deal with Entertainment One for unscripted television and is the creator and executive producer of WETV’s Growing Up Hip Hop, which is in its third season and has spinoffs in the works. His film Supermodel was recently acquired by Netflix and will premiere later this year. Turner is repped by CAA and Ryan Nord.

Megan Good is also starring in Hulu’s upcoming Foxy Brown series adaptation. She is repped by Gersh, Primary Wave and Greg Gellman.

Omari Hardwick, currently seen on the Starz series Power, adds Love on Election Night to his upcoming film projects, including Max Martini’s military road-trip drama Will Gardner, Micah Hauptman’s basketball tale D Is for Detroit, Ka’ramuu Kush’s action flick Die Enormous and Ric Roman Waugh’s crime thriller Shot Caller. He is repped by Gersh, The Lasher Group and attorney Shelby J. Weiser.

The film also set to co star Jay Ellis, Dijon Talton, Wesley Jonathan and Affion Crocket.

Media houses and social media have expressed their enthusiasm about this film and are excited to see both actors working together.
