Ricain Robinson, Shot And Killed In Westmoreland

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Ricain Robinson, Shot And Killed In Westmoreland: One man was shot and killed by two gunmen in the Bluefield’s area of Westmoreland on Saturday night.

The dead man has been identified as 24-year-old Ricain Robinson, otherwise called Chippy, of a Warren Crescent address in Kingston 20 and Retirement in Bluefield, Westmoreland.

Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police are that, about 11:30 pm on Saturday, Robinson was at a board structured house in Bluefield’s where he was staying with a friend. Sometime later two men armed with handguns forced their way inside the house, held them at gunpoint and demanded money. When their demands were not met, the men took Robinson outside, later returned by themselves and again demanded money from the friend.

The gunmen then took the friend outside and pointed their firearms at him but he ran and managed to escape in nearby bushes.

He was later assisted to the police station where he made a report. The police rushed to the area and carried out a search of the house and its surroundings. The search led to the discovery of Robinson’s body in nearby bushes with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
