Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Referee Carlton Buried: Hundreds of people turned out on Saturday, October 21, to pay their last respects to well- known insurance sales agent, and a former St. James Referee. The funeral of Carlton Samuels, more popularly called “Fatta” , was held at the Westgate Hills Baptist Church in Montego Bay.
His body was interred at the Hillview Memorial Garden. Several people paid tribute at the funeral, among them the Montego Bay Fire Department, the Football and Referees association, Sagicor Insurance and Barracks Road Primary, where he was a member of the school board. Carlton died on September 24. The Eulogy was read by his son, Ricardo Samuels.
