Jamaica News, Trelawny: Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Tourism Minister, Ed Bartlett led a team of government officials and dignitaries to the official ground-breaking for the Ocean Coral Spring Resort in Rock Spring, Trelawny on Wednesday, February 6.
The event which kicked off at approximately was chaired by Dr Terri Karelle Reid, while the official ground breaking team was welcomed by Antonio Hernandez Director of International Divisions H 10 Hotels.
Greetings then came from Ms Victoria Garcia Ojeda, in Charge of Affairs, Embassy of Spain and Hon Daryl Vaz, MP, Minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Economy, Growth and Job Creation.
The final phase of greeting came across from Shahine Robinson MP, Minister of Labor and Social Security while the Keynote address was done by the Hon Andrew Holiness.
In his address, the Prime Minister encouraged the move while making it known that resorts such as the Ocean Coral Spring contributes to tourism, and tourism contributes to the growth of this country.
