A man who reportedly held up a woman with a gun and forced her to have sex with him has been arrested and charged by detectives in Portland.
Charged is 30-year-old Davion Bryan, labourer of Norwich district in the parish. He has been charged with rape and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition
Reports are that about 3:00 a.m., on Friday July 10, using a firearm, Bryan held up a woman who was walking along the roadway and had sexual intercourse with her against her will. The matter was reported to the police. An investigation was launched which led to the arrest and charge of Bryan.
His court date is being finalised.
