Jamaica News, April 6, 2018 – Portland Ex-Cop Fatally Stabbed
Portland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A ex-police officer who attempted to break up a domestic dispute between a man and a woman in Portland on Friday morning, April 6, was fatally stabbed by the man who is presently on the run.
The deceased has been identified as Homer Davis, otherwise called “Silver Fox”, 60-year-old retired Corporal of Passley Gardens also in Portland.
In the meanwhile, the police say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance in locating the accused man Ajardo Lawrence, otherwise called “Cutty or Gaza” of a Spring Park Road.
Reports by the police are that shortly after 12:10 a.m. on Friday, Davis saw the man who is now being sought involved in a dispute with a female along the Spring Farm Road. He intervened and Lawrence reportedly used a knife to stab him several times to his upper body.
Lawrence fled the scene and the police were summoned. The wounded man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
