Jamaica News: A popular Montego Bay businessman who was admitted to hospital, after receiving serious injuries in a motor vehicle collision in Hanover on Friday, December 7, succumbed to injuries at hospital.
He has been identified as Robert McKinley of a St. James address.
Reports by the Sandy Bay police are that about 3:45 a.m. last Friday, McKinley was driving his Mazda motor car, from the directions of Lucea towards Montego Bay.
On reaching a section of Hopewell main street in Hopewell, Hanover, he drifted to his right and collided head-on with a Nissan motor car, which was heading in the opposite direction.
The driver of both vehicles sustained head and body injuries. They were transported to hospital where they were treated and admitted.
McKinley who is said to have suffered internal bleeding, succumbed to injuries at hospital on Wednesday.
The Sandy Bay police, are now investigating.
