Popular Event Promoter Shot Dead in Robins Bay, St Mary

Police in St Mary are investigating the fatal shooting of a well-known event promoter in Robins Bay on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Kemoy Finley, also known as ‘Walkin’ Bank’ or ‘Turbo,’ of Highgate, St Mary.

Authorities report that Finley was attacked by gunmen around 9:35 p.m. and later died from his injuries. Following the shooting, Finley’s motor vehicle was reportedly stolen.

Finley was widely recognized in entertainment circles as an event promoter and also operated a chartered taxi service.

Detectives say investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Residents remain concerned as police work to identify the suspects.

The parish continues to grapple with violent crime, with recent murders heightening fears in the community.
