A firearm and 13 rounds of ammunition were seized during a police operation in Gut Hill, Granville, Montego Bay, St James, on Monday, September 14.
Reports are that around 1:50 p.m., a police team searched a two-bedroom house and found a .223 Wylde mini rifle in a chest of drawers in one of the bedrooms.
The rifle was reportedly loaded with a magazine containing 13 rounds of .223 live ammunition.
Two people were arrested in connection with the seizure. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
