POLICE SEEKS HELP TO IDENTIFY MAN MURDERED IN MOUNT CAREY

St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- POLICE SEEKS HELP TO IDENTIFY MAN MURDERED IN MOUNT CAREY: Investigators at the Anchovy police in St. James are now appealing to members of the public for their assistance in identifying a man who was shot and killed by gunmen in the Mount Carey community on Thursday morning.

According to investigators, the victim who is believed to be about 24 years old is of dark complexion medium built and about 5ft-10ins tall. The victim had a low haircut and was clad in a multi-colored shorts, blue and grey shirt and a pair of black shoes.

 

Reports by the Anchovy police are that shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the victim walked into a shop located at a section of the Mount Carey community known as York Bush. After purchasing an item and walking from the shop, two men who traveling on foot walked up to him and immediately brandished handguns. The men opened fire on the man, killing him on the spot.

 

The Anchovy police were summoned and on arrival, the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
