Police Release Identities of Sisters Shot and Killed in Duhaney Park, Kingston 20

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Kingston police have now released the identities of the two sisters, who were shot and killed by gunmen at their home, in Duhaney Park policing area, on Sunday morning, June 9.

They have been identified as 33-year-old Salomie Plummer, otherwise called “Janice”  and her 38-year-old sister Simone Plummer, otherwise called “Simone”,  formally of Clarendon addresses.

Reports by the Duhaney Park police are that shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, Salomie and Simone were at their home, which is located along a section of Keats Avenue, when two men posing as workmen, came to their house and informed them that they were there to fix a water leak.

The sisters allowed them inside, minutes later, loud explosions were heard coming from the house, and the two men were seen running to the outside.

Residents in the community summoned the police and upon arrival, both sisters were found inside the bedroom, with multiple gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.

The scene was processed and both sisters were rushed to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Residents in the community told reporters that the sisters recently moved to the community, allegedly from their original address in Clarendon.
