Police Release Composite Sketch of Suspect in $7M Robbery in Montego Bay

The St James police have released a composite sketch of a man believed to have been involved in a brazen $7 million robbery at the intersection of Upper Bevin Avenue and Market Circle in Montego Bay last month.

Reports indicate that about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, two armed men stopped a motor truck in the busy area and robbed it of approximately $7 million before escaping on foot.

The incident was reported to the police, and based on eyewitness descriptions, investigators were able to generate a composite sketch of one of the suspects.

Law enforcement officials are urging the man in the sketch to turn himself in immediately at the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) or the nearest police station.

Anyone with information that could assist in locating the suspects is encouraged to contact the police.
