Police Recover Illegal Gun – Ammo, Man Arrested

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Police Recover Illegal Gun: A team from the Denham Town Police was on patrol on the North Street, downtown area of Kingston on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

At approximately 6:40 p.m. they observed a man acting in a strange manner that aroused their suspicions. The man was accosted by the police and when searched, a .38 Smith and Wesson Revolver loaded with six .38 cartridges were taken from his waistband.

He has since been arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition. His identity is also being withheld pending further investigations.
