Police Make Breakthrough into Identity of Man Murdered in Salt Spring, St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Montego Hills police say they have now made a breakthrough into the identity of the man who was discovered shot to death in the community of Salt Spring on Wednesday morning of June 6th.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Ronick Duncan, otherwise called “Pem Pem” of Buck Toe lane also in Salt Spring.

The Montego Hills police have reported that shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Duncan was walking in his community when he was ambushed and shot to death by unknown assailants. The police were summoned and upon arrival, they stumbled upon Duncan’s body which was lying in a pool of blood along a dirt track in the area.

The scene was processed and the victim was later transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
