Jamaica – The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has turned up the pressure in its search for 40-year-old Courtney Ashley, otherwise called ‘Bloodstain’, the feared leader of the Bottom Marverly Gang.
Ashley, whose last known address is Abby Close, Leas Flat, Red Hills, St. Andrew, is wanted for multiple serious and violent crimes. Police say he has been a fixture on their Wanted Wednesdays campaign and remains a prime target for law enforcement.
He is wanted for the 2017 murder of Andrew Foster and for wounding another man on Fenbrook Avenue, St. Andrew. In addition, he is listed as a person of interest in several other investigations, including a recent double murder in the St. Andrew South Division.
Most recently, on July 21, 2025, officers from the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) disrupted a planned contract killing on Jacks Hill Road, St. Andrew. The operation ended in a deadly clash — five men were fatally shot, and five firearms seized. Ashley was named as the sixth suspect, but he escaped the dragnet.
Since then, the police have been urging him to surrender immediately at the nearest station. Today, the High Command repeated that call, warning Ashley that the law is closing in fast.
The JCF is also appealing to the public for help. Anyone with information on Ashley’s whereabouts is asked to contact:
- Major Investigations Division – 876-758-5048
- National Intelligence Bureau – 811
- Crime Stop – 311
- Police 119 emergency line
- Or the nearest police station.
The manhunt is active, and police say ‘Bloodstain’ will not escape justice for long.
