St Ann, Jamaica: Pedestrian Killed in Accident – A male pedestrian lost his life in a motor vehicle accident along a section of the Ocho Rios Bypass in St. Ann on Monday.
The deceased has been identified so far only as Christopher Hawthorne of a Charles Town address in St. Mary.
Reports from the Ocho Rios police indicate that around 12:10 am, Hawthorne was walking along a section of the Ocho Rios Bypass when he crossed the path of a Land Rover motor vehicle and was hit.
He sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
