Clarendon, Jamaica – An unidentified pedal cyclist succumbed to injuries sustained in a head-on collision with a Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) service vehicle on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 1:00 AM on Manchester Avenue, near the intersection with Penguin Key. According to a police report, a Toyota Land Cruiser assigned to the JDF was traveling eastbound when it collided head-on with the cyclist traveling westbound.
The cyclist sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the May Pen Hospital, where they were pronounced dead while undergoing treatment.
