Papine Man Perish in Fire

Jamaica News, April 12, 2018 – Papine Man Perish 

St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Papine police and a team from the Papine Fire Department have commenced an investigation, to determine the origin of a fire which claimed the life of a man in the community on Thursday morning, April 12.

The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Uriel Williams of Papine.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, residents in the Papine community raised an alarm after they awoke and discovered William’s house on fire.

The police and the fire Department were summoned and upon arrival, the firemen discovered that the house was engulfed in flames, so they could only managed to carry out cooling down operations.

When the fire died down, Williams charred remains were discovered underneath the burnt rubbles.

The remains were later removed.
