Detectives assigned to the Westmoreland Police Division seized over 500 pounds of compressed ganja during a joint police and military operation at a house in Faustic Grove,
Whitehouse in the parish on Friday, April 4.
Reports from the police indicate that at about 5:50 a.m., the police team conducted a search of the premises and its occupants. During the search, they discovered several plastic bags containing compressed packages of ganja, as well as cash totaling $53,800.00 JMD.
- Two men were arrested in relation to this seizure. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
