Orange Bay, Hanover — A tragic crash early Sunday morning on the Salt Creek main road in Orange Bay has left one woman dead and three others nursing injuries.
The accident occurred shortly before 4:00 a.m. and involved a Nissan AD Wagon and a Honda Grace traveling in opposite directions. According to preliminary reports, the vehicles collided head-on, and investigators suspect that one of the drivers may have fallen asleep at the wheel, leading to the fatal incident.
The impact of the crash caused severe injuries to the occupants of both vehicles. A female passenger in the Nissan AD Wagon was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The other three injured individuals, whose identities have not yet been released, are currently undergoing treatment. Their conditions remain unclear at this time.
The Green Island police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are urging motorists to exercise caution, especially during the early hours of the morning when fatigue can impair judgment and reaction times.
