St. Ann, Jamaica (McN) – The St Ann Parish Court has ordered no bail for a man who allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death in December.
Ryan Edwards, 22, of Steer Town, St Ann was ordered to remain in jail until his next court day at the St Ann Parish Court on March 7.
He is charged with the stabbing death of Alisa Garey, 20 on December 14, 2016, at her home in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Edwards allegedly stabbed the 20-year-old in her chest, in front of her mother for leaving him, she reportedly bled to death in her mothers arms.
Residents say Edwards tried to get away, fleeing the scene of the dying Garey, but the community caught and beat him before handing him over to the police.
