ST JAMES, Jamaica — A new commuter bus route connecting Montego Bay and Savanna-la-Mar was officially launched on Wednesday through a partnership between the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) and Montego Bay Metro (MBM).
The new service is aimed at enhancing public transportation between the western parishes of St James and Westmoreland. Fares are set at $250 for adults, $100 for children, and $50 for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Daily scheduled trips are now in operation, and commuters are encouraged to take advantage of the new route and share feedback with MBM as efforts continue to improve the service.
