Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Murdered Female American National Identified: The Freeport police in Montego Bay St. James have reported that they have now identified the female foreign national who was discovered with her throat slashed in bushes off the Long Hill main road in Reading, St James on Saturday morning.
Investigators say the female has been identified as 26-yr-old Desiree Gibbon of Queens, New York USA.
Reports are that about 7:30 a.m. last Saturday residents in the Long Hill area of Reading discovered Gibbon’s body in bushes near a Great House and alerted the police. On arrival of the police, Gibbons body was discovered in a pool of blood with her throat slashed. The scene was processed and the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The police say they have learnt that the American female was visiting family in Montego Bay where she was staying over the past week. She is said to always walk alone when going out and she was last seen alive last Wednesday when she reportedly left the family house for an undisclosed location.
