Murder at Railway Lane, Victim Hails from Lottery District


Montego Bay, St. James (McN) – The Barrett Street Police in Montego Bay are now carrying out investigations to come up with motive surrounding the shooting death of a man, along a section of Railway Lane in downtown MoBay, on Saturday night.

The victim has been identified as Ricky Henry, 36 years old of Lottery District, St. James.

Reports are that, shortly after 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017, loud explosions were heard coming from sections of Railway Lane.

Officers attached to the Barnett Street police station rushed to the area.

Upon arrival, they stumbled upon the victim who was lying along a section of the roadway in a pool of blood, with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Henry was pronounced dead at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
