A male motorist was rushed to the Savanna la Mar Hospital on Monday morning and treated for injuries he sustained after a tree, which was cut down by angry protesters in Retreat, Westmoreland, fell on top of his car.
It is reported that the residents are protesting for better road and water conditions in their community.
A team of police has been dispersed to the location to bring calm to the area after angry protesters used all kinds of debris and fallen trees to block sections of the roadway as early as 5:00 am on Monday.
