Jamaican Teen Killed: A family in Pennsylvania is grieving the loss of their 16-year-old son, Justin Johnson, after a troubling incident with racial overtones that has shaken their community.
Justin, a sophomore at Central Dauphin High School, died following an encounter with three young men who reportedly visited his home and asked him to come out and play. Security footage from the incident showed the boys running away while using racially insensitive language towards Justin.
One of the young men was heard saying, ‘he’s running like he ran back to Africa,’ while another said ‘he ran back to (expletive deleted) Africa.’

Justin, who had a health condition called sickle cell disease, collapsed shortly after the incident. His father, Orville Johnson, explained that Justin called him saying he couldn’t breathe before he was found unconscious on the floor. Despite efforts to help him, Justin’s condition worsened, and he died.
The incident has sparked outrage online, with many calling it a hate crime and demanding justice for Justin. While the Lower Paxton Township Police are investigating, no charges have been filed yet. They urge anyone with information or videos to contact them.
The Central Dauphin School District expressed sadness over Justin’s death and emphasized that such behavior goes against their values. They are committed to creating a welcoming environment and won’t tolerate hate speech or any behavior that disrespects others.
