St Catherine, Jamaica: The Guy’s Hill police have commenced a thorough investigation following a tragic collision between a motorcycle and a truck on Sunday, which claimed the life of 25-year-old Garece Campbell from Decoy district, St Mary.
According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. Campbell was navigating his motorcycle along the Guy’s Hill main road when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. This loss of control led to a collision with a Toyota motor truck that was traveling in the opposite direction.
The collision’s impact caused significant damage to both the motorcycle and the truck. Campbell was violently thrown from his bike, sustaining severe injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Linstead Hospital.
Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle involved in the accident was not equipped with registration plates at the time of the collision. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, seeking to determine the exact cause of the crash.
