The Morgan’s Bridge police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Belle Isle district on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Dane Horton, a resident of Belle Isle, Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
According to reports, around 9:30 pm, Horton was riding his motorcycle along a section of Belle Isle main road when he was ambushed and shot multiple times by armed assailants.
After falling from his motorcycle, Horton was shot again by the gunmen who then fled the scene on foot.
Residents rushed Horton to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
