Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Coral Gardens police have confirmed that two persons have been killed following their involvements in a four-vehicle accident, which occurred along a section of the Rose Hall main road in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday night, March 8.

Five other persons were also admitted to hospital in serious condition.

Reports are that shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8,  the two victims were traveling in a blue  Honda Civic motor car from the directions of Falmouth, towards Downtown Montego Bay.

The police confirmed that two Honda EG motor car were in a race from the directions of Falmouth,  one Honda driver lost control and crashed into the utility pole which resulted in the other also crashing.

One of the Honda collided into the minibus and tore off the front section of the bus, including one of its wheels and it overturned.

A fourth vehicle which is also said to be a Honda motor car also crashed into both crashed car. Both the driver and the passenger who were travelling in the Honda motor car died on the spot.

The police say it is very puzzling, considering that all the vehicles in the crash are all Hondas.

Two units from the Rosehall Fire Department, an ambulance, a wrecker and the Coral Gardens police were summoned to the scene.
