Montego Bay: 7 Persons Injured in Rosehall Motor Vehicle Accident

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Seven persons were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital and treated, following their involvements in a motor vehicle accident, which occurred along a section of the Rosehall main road in Montego Bay, St James, on Friday, March 16.
Reports by the Coral Gardens police are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, a Toyota Picnic motor vehicle which is used as a route taxi, was traveling from the directions of Falmouth towards downtown Montego Bay with six passengers on board.
On reaching a section of the Rose Hall main road, in the vicinity of the Half Moon Hotel, another vehicle drove unto the highway across the path of the taxi. The driver swerved to avoid collision, however, both vehicles still collided and the Toyota Picnic overturned.
The Toyota was severely damaged causing injuries to all six passengers and the driver.
The Coral Gardens police were summoned to the scene and upon arrival, the wounded persons were rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
The officers have now launched an investigation into this latest accident.
