Miss Maroon Town Queen is Sasha Williams

Jamaica News, St James: Miss Maroon Town – For the longest while, the community of Maroon Town in St James got some much-needed attention when the Maroon Town Youths Association  Committee staged the 2018 Miss Maroon Town contest.

The Contest was held on Sunday, August 5 at the Maldon High school in St James. The winner was Sasha Williams who was sponsored by the Mayor of Montego Bay. First runner-up went to Kimberley Gunn, while second runner-up was Sashaine Gooden.

Kriss Jonson from out of the Cross The Line production serenaded the queen and presented the contestants with Roses. Mycowave was the guest artiste who gave some humorous performance to please the audience. The Mayor of Montego Bay Hosmer Davis was on hand to present the contestants with a token.

The event was hosted by the Maroon Town Youth Association and the Councilor for the Maroon Town division  Everes Coke. The citizens are very pleased with the turn out of the event and look forward to another stage show in the Maroon Town community.
