Trump Says Envoy 'Wasting His Time' Talking To North Korea

Minster Shaw Has Hope Trump Can “Make Jamaica Great Again”

Kingston Jamaica (McN) – Minster of Finance, Audley Shaw has high hopes for the controversial new US President – Donald Trump and the relationship between the United States and Jamaica.

Minister Shaw spoke at the Mayberry Investment Forum in the Knutsford Court Hotel, Kingston – he added that he believes there could be a DUPLICATED relationship between the US President and the Jamaican Prime Minister – just like the relationship between President Ronald Regan  and Prime Minister Edward Seaga in the 1980s.

“I am optimistic that we can have a productive relationship with the new President. He is a businessman and he knows the value of partnerships and good economic relationships,” said Minister Shaw.

Business man Donald Trump took office as the 45th President of the United States of America on Friday, January 20, 2016.

Many are wondering if the Minister missed the Presidential Inaugural speech, where President Trump – Trumped out loud his same consistent campaign sentiments:

“From this moment on, it’s going to be America first.”

“Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.

“We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.”
