Million Dollar Robbery At Supermarket On Barnett Street

Jamaica Crime News: The Barnett Street police in Montego Bay, St James have commenced an investigation into a multi million dollar robbery at a Chinese supermarket along Barnett Street, between Monday morning of September 30, to Tuesday morning October 1.
No one has been arrested in connection with this latest robbery.
Reports are that the operators of the Supermarket close up the business on Monday evening, and went home.
Between the hours of 10:00 p.m., on Monday, to 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday robbery gained access to the building and tripped the motion sensor.
A security team alerted the Chinese operators and upon their arrival, it was discovered that the robbers broke through a concrete wall and robbed a large sum of money.
The robbers also took a quantity of cigarettes and a a large quantity of phone cards, estimated in the regions of several million dollars.
