18-Persons Injured In St Ann Crash

Jamaica News: At least 18 persons received injuries, three critical, following their involvements in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Llandovery main road in Discovery Bay, St Ann on Monday morning.
The police have reported that three of the 18-injured victims, including one driver, is presently being treated in critical condition.
Reports by the police are that about 11:50 a.m., the driver of a Toyota Corolla motor car was travelling along the Llandovery main road towards Runaway Bay.
On reaching the vicinity of the Sazz Service station the driver was in the process of driving unto the the compound, when a Nissan motor car which was travelling close behind attempted to overtake and collided into a mini bus.
The drivers of both vehicles along with 16 passengers received serious injuries and had to be rushed to hospital, where the driver of the bus and two other passenger were admitted in critical condition, and the other treated in stable condition.
