The Ocho Rios police have launched a manhunt for two men who broke into the Coconut Grove Supermarket in Ocho Rios, St Ann, and stole cash and valuables valued at over a million dollars over the weekend.
Reports indicate that on Saturday night, the supermarket operators securely locked up the establishment and went home.
On Sunday, it was discovered that a section of the grill door had been cut away, allowing two robbers to force their way inside the supermarket.
The men proceeded to steal a large quantity of cigarettes, liquors, a cash register containing cash, and an NCB debit card machine.
The men managed to escape with the loot and are now being hunted by the police.
