Jamaica News: The Meteorological Service has discontinued the flash flood watch for North eastern parishes including Portland and St Mary.
The parishes were placed on high alert by the Met Office after intense rainfall lashed the parishes lastnight and today.
Low lying and flood prone areas in particular were at risk.
The alert was discontinuedΒ 6pmΒ Sunday.
According to the Met Office significant rainfall was recorded mainly over Portland. Fair Prospect: 92 millimeters, Ken Jones Aerodrome: 108 mm and C.A.S.E: 144 mm saw most rainfall respectively.
