Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew (McKoy’s News): Detectives attached to the St Andrew South police division are carrying out investigations surrounding the death of a man, whose body was discovered with bullet wounds at a riverside in the parish on Tuesday, October 1.
The victim has since been identified as Varval Cummings, labourer of West Port Avenue, in Kingston 11.
Reports by the Hunts Bay police are that about 10:15 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body, and raised an alarm.
The lawmen drove to the location and upon their arrival, Cummings was discovered lying beside the river with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The scene was processed, and the body transported to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
