Mandeville Vendor Found Dead in Bus Shed Near Regional Hospital

The Manchester police are investigating the death of a newspaper vendor whose body was discovered in a bus shed in the town center on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Patrick Ewers, also known as ‘Kitoso,’ a resident of Mandeville. Ewers, who had been selling the Daily Observer newspaper in Mandeville for nearly two decades, was found by a street sweeper around 4:00 a.m. at the bus shed near the entrance of the Mandeville Regional Hospital.

A source close to the investigation revealed that Ewers had recently been hospitalized.

Preliminary police reports suggest there were no signs of foul play. However, the body has been transported to the morgue for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

The investigation into Ewers’ death continues.
