Manchester Woman Succumbs to Injuries After Hit-and-Run Incident

CHRISTIANA, Manchester — A woman who was critically injured in a hit-and-run incident early Tuesday morning has died in hospital, police have confirmed.

Rubena Hall, 50, of Chudleigh district, succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday morning, less than 24 hours after being struck by a vehicle along the main road in Chudleigh.

According to reports, Hall was walking along the roadway around 12:40 a.m. when a vehicle hit her and sped away without stopping. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, she did not survive.

The Christiana police have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
