The Westmoreland police have apprehended and charged a man in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred at their workplace in the Three Miles River area of the parish.
Facing charges of Wounding With Intent is 20-year-old Dwight Heath, a delivery man from St. Ann Bay, St. Ann.
Reports indicate that around 10:00 pm, Heath and his 28-year-old co-worker, originally from Manchester, were at their workplace in Westmoreland when an argument erupted between them.

It is further reported that Heath used a knife to inflict stab wounds to the left side of the victim’s lower back before departing the scene.
The police were called, and upon their arrival, the injured man was transported to the hospital where he received treatment and was admitted in serious condition.
Following an investigation, Heath was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
