St. James, Montego Bay (McN) – The Anchovy police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the murder of a man who was shot and killed by a group of gunmen at a Furniture Shop, in Mount Carey District, on Monday morning.
The victim has been identified as Ronice Magoo of Joan Hill also in Mt Carey.
Reports are that about 10:00 am on Monday, Magoo and two other men were working at a Furniture Shop in Joan Hill.
Three men armed with handguns, walked up to them and open fire on Magoo, hitting him over seven times to his upper body.
The gunmen then escaped in the area on foot.
Shortly after the shooting residents in the area alerted the police.
Upon arrival, the victim was rushed to the Cornwall regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.
