MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A man was shot and killed at his home in Canewood district, north-west Manchester, early Tuesday morning.
Police have identified the victim as Ojay Gooden, 30, a resident of Canewood in Comfort Hall.
According to a police report, at around 1:05 a.m., armed men posing as police officers forced their way into Gooden’s home and opened fire, hitting him multiple times. The assailants then set fire to his grey 2003 Toyota Corolla.
Authorities are probing whether the killing is linked to another murder in the Canewood area on October 12.
