A 40-year-old man was shot and killed at a bar in Browns Hall, St. Catherine, on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Dowayne Martin of Williams Gully.
Reports are that about 9:45 p.m., Martin was at a bar near a local school when two men approached him, brandished firearms, and opened fire hitting him multiple times. He was transported to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown. The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is actively investigating the incident.
