Man Murdered while Returning from Party in Granville    

Jamaica Crime News, St James: One man was shot and killed by a group of gunmen while returning from a party in Granville, St James on Tuesday morning, May 2.

The deceased has been identified as, Ronald Samuels, otherwise called “Sam”  37-year-old laborer of Crawford Street in Mount Salem.

Reports by the Mount Salem community police are that,  Samuels and some friends went to a house party which was being held at a premises in Gordon Crescent, Granville on Monday night.

About 1:00 a.m.,  Samuels was returning from the party, after leaving the premises he was pounced upon by a group of armed men who opened fire hitting him to his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
