Man Murdered at Shop : The Trelawny police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man at a shop in the Coopers Pen community on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Durant Burke, also a resident of Coopers Pen.
According to reports, around 11:45 pm, Burke and a group of men were gathered outside a shop in the community when a lone gunman approached and opened fire, striking Burke multiple times.
The assailant fled the scene in a waiting motor car. Police were alerted, and upon their arrival, the injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
