Man Killed by Hit-and Run Driver in Kingston

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Central Police say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the driver of a Black Honda CRV, who reportedly mowed down a pedestrian along a section of South Camp Road in Kingston 4, on Wednesday, September 26.

The victim has been identified so far only as Percival Webster, laborer of a Kingston address.

Reports by the police are that on Wednesday evening, Webster was walking along a section of South Camp Road, when he attempted to walk across the roadway.

He was mowed down by the unidentified driver who failed to stop.

The victim sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
