A man was gunned down in front of a primary school in Manchester, Jamaica, shortly after dropping off his five-year-old stepdaughter on Friday Morning.
The victim, 27-year-old Cuthbert Lambert, also known as Jerome, was shot dead around 8:00 AM. Police revealed that Lambert had been reporting on bail in connection to a 2018 child murder case at the time of his killing.
In response to the shooting, the Ministry of Education ordered the school into lockdown, ensuring that all students were safe. Authorities reassured concerned parents gathered outside, confirming that the school’s gates were closed and secured. This murder comes just two days after 29-year-old Romario White was fatally shot in Christiana, marking the fourth murder in Manchester over the past four days.
