A man was fatally shot and a woman injured at a bar in Greenwich Town, Kingston 13, on Thursday morning.
The deceased, identified as 69-year-old Donovan Simpson, was also a resident of Greenwich Town.
According to reports, around 10:40 a.m., Simpson was seated at the bar when he was approached by two men who brandished handguns and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
A woman standing nearby was also hit by stray bullets and sustained injuries.
The assailants fled the scene, prompting local residents to call the police. Upon their arrival, officers transported Simpson to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The injured woman was treated and admitted in stable condition.
